THE PROCESS

The initial consultation can be held over the phone or via email. During this we will discuss briefly the possible order, how many windows, location, type of product, if there are any requests for specific branded fabrics and the general aesthetic of your home. From this, I will arrange a site consultation.

Studio visits are an optional extra at no additional cost if you wish to view my full sample range of fabrics. We can also discuss the online database of fabrics over a nice hot cup of tea or coffee, if the books are not what you're looking for.

Coming to the studio grants you the behind the scenes access to see my workshop and experience first hand how the products are made. 

All of the soft furnishings are made in the workshop by myself. It is important to me that I retain the highest of quality in all of the work completed. Throughout production I check all of my work for quality and durability. Once the order is complete I will contact you regarding a fitting date. My fitter, Rick will take the lead fitting the products and I will accompany to ensure everything is to the highest of standards and no additional work is required. 

The remaining balance of your order will be due within 7 days of fitting. 

On a date that suits you, I will visit your home or the destination involved in the inquiry and we will discuss in more detail your requirements.  We will review the functionality of the product and decide if it is right for that window type.  If you do not already have your fabric, I can bring a selection of sample books with me for you to view in your home.  This can be a huge benefit as you can see what matches best in your spaces.  Site consultations are free of charge within a 15 mile radius of my premises.

A quotation will be drafted as a result of our discussions and meetings, this will include all products and accessories.  Once the quote is approved by email, I will then require a deposit before the work can commence, this will be specific to you. The quotation will also state a lead time which is generally around 4 - 6 weeks, however this will depend on the size of the order.

I offer a wide range of fabrics in a variety of styles and designs from fabric houses some of whom are based in the North West such as Ian Mankin, Voyage, Ashley Wilde, Prestigious Textiles, Art of the Loom, and more.  I offer a consultation service either in the comfort of your home or by appointment at my workroom where we can discuss your requirements and you can choose the most suitable fabric for your home.  If you prefer to source your own fabric I can accommodate this.
